Sir Isaac Ford,brother of Congressman Harold Ford uses the address of the family funeral home as his residence. Isaac is accused of voting for his aunt Ophelia in the Sept 15,election using the 12 south Parkway west address of the funeral home. As you will see from the data of The Shelby County Property Assessor's office,that he alone with his father Harold Ford Sr. Own a home in the SouthWind area of East Memphis,and has owned it since Jan of 2001.
FOX13 went into the funeral home to find out if Isaac did in fact live there.They interviewed the secretary who stated she had been there two years and he hadn't lived there doing that time. The reporters must have caught her before anyone knew they were there. Because uncle Joseph Ford who is also a County Commissioner came out and was interviewed stating that he had at one time lived there.Then he went on to show the reporters his drivers license,telling them that he lives on Cecil but has the funeral home address on his license.
He also stated that there was a living area upstairs.Which is correct but Isaac has never lived there.during his father's life time,N.J. And Vera lived there,after there death brother Melvin lived there for a period of time but never any of Harold Sr's kids. So this is just another Ford Lie.

If the Terry Roland Gang wants to be creditable on this latest "voter issue" and still be in compliance with Federal Judge Donald's instructions to give the District 29 voters due process, then former Senator John Ford should be listed #1 on this "new list?" Everybody knows John Ford admitted in Juvenile Court documents that he "sleeps" at two Shelby County location, neither of which is the address where he is registered to vote in DISTRICT 29!
Bottom line, a person gets to decide which of the properties he/she owns in Shelby County is his/her "domicile." Republicans should be careful on this one, because I am sick of the few thousand people who have left Memphis/Shelby County for the "greener pastures" of other counties in Arkansas, Mississippi and Tennessee and yet, return to Shelby County to VOTE!
Be Reminded that TN Chancery & Appeals Court settled this issue in the Michael Hooks vs Wanda Halbert case when he returned from college to win a seat on the School Board inspite of not having been in Memphis for years.
Returning from college to a domicile, or from another place to your home isn't the issue. If your wife lives at an address outside the district, your cars are registered there, your kids go to school in the other districts, guess what you live where your family lives, not where your parents live or used to live.
I saw the segment on Fox and was surprised at how frank the secretary of the Ford Funeral Home was when denying that Isaac Ford lived at the home. I seemed to sense from her that the idea was ridiculous. It also amazes me that the Fords want to represent District 29 but many of them don't want to really live in the area (or around the people).

The Fords have now damaged more than Memphis' image and their own personal credibility. In response to the Ophelia lawsuit and democrats' blind backing of the fraudulent election (among other things,) Sen. Don McLeary has switched parties and will now represent the Republicans in the State Senate, widening the Republican majority. Congratulations Ophelia! Add the state senate and the democratic party to the list of victims of your fraud. They can join black constituents, morals, ethics, the law, and public perception on the list.
I think if the Democrats were smart, that they would begin investigating, the thousands of people who have moved out of Shelby County and who still vote in county and sometimes city elections. I* work with a number of people who have moved to Mississippi but continue to be on the voter rolls in Memphis and Shelby County, These are the individuals who need investigating
not those who live in the city and vote elsewhere. People have been doing that for years, and it won't stop, but those people who have moved out of the area, should be investigated

Joe Also uses 12 S. Parkway for his voting registration. If John Can why not everybody? because it's wrong Ch. 5 interviewed Bernard Jennings and he said he voted there Dist. 29 because he paid taxes in the city and he should be able to vote anywhere he choosed too.

You mentioned that MS residents have stayed on the TN voter rolls. Do they vote in TN? If so, root 'em out and get 'em off the rolls. If they don't vote, there is no wrongdoing. Failing to move your registration isn't illegal. Voting in a district based on an incorrect registration is.

terry roland would love to be a representative but he does not believe that if there was another election, he would win. he and most others believe he would get blown away.
what he does want is the same thing that you seem to want. have it ALL investigated and clean up

i listen to jennings bernard almost daily. he rants and raves about corruption and the way things are and the way things should be.
he makes a lot of good points.
his credibility is about the same as his caller "bubba" when he justifies breaking the law by voting where his heart is instead of where he lives.
if his heart is in one place, why has he left it and moved to another? if he feels like he can vote in any precinct because he pays taxes, why not just have all
offices be "at large" offices.
jennings, if you feel the voting laws need to be changed, work to get them changed. help elect representatives that will help bring these changes. you seem to be asking for change each day on the radio show and i respect that but you can't break the law just because you feel a certain way.

Just because someone diagrees with an individual, doesn't mean that they should be banned form the site. Some support Thad and some support WIllie. That's alright. We are all individuals with our own opinions. The childish things come when people start degrading folks becuause they support one person over another. It is not against the law to live in a different area than where you vote IDIOTS, If it were illegal then John could not have represented Dist. 29 for almost 30 years. I live in South Memphis but I vote in Whitehaven and will continue to do so number 1 cause I'm grown and number two unlike most of you idiots I HAVE AN EDUCATION.
