HAROLD FORD SR. BURIES HIS BROTHER JOE

If Shelby County Commissioners who have supported Joe Ford for county mayor needed a reason to change their votes Harold Ford Sr. have given them their out. Monday's threat by Ford Sr. to commissioner Deidre Malone to attempt to destroy her political career if she didn't support his brother should be enough for Joe not to receive any votes and send a message to Senior that he should stick his nose in the business of Florida where he resides and not into local concerns.

Joe ford who has a long history of not paying employees at N.J. Ford and Sons Funeral Home has had his non payment history posted in the CA for the last few days. While I now that the stories were printed so that the last term commissioner would lose support, maybe the stories were needed to show everyone including myself what type of trouble the county could be in under his care.

The CA spoke of the $23,000 owed to a contractor who has placed a lien on his Funeral Home property on Winchester, his debt to the Carter Malone Group,and a IRS lien that has been paid.I found out yesterday that he also owes his hair dresser who also dresses his bodies over $2,000 and Mr. Earl Butts who has a body removal services nearly $500 for picking up several bodies that Ford has already been paid on.

Ford Sr. who lives Boca Raton does not have the influence that he once enjoyed in Shelby County and his attempt to strong arm Malone should be considered and insult by other commissioners and a NO vote from every commissioners should be given to Joe Ford.

Another thing Ford Sr. did not consider is that even though Commissioner Sidney Chism has supported his brother his involvement will most likely mean that he will lose that support. Chism has a strong loyalty to former Memphis mayor Willie Herenton and his support of Steve Cohen who Herenton plans to run against next year for congress did not sit well with Chism and Chism just may see this as a chance to get even. And you can be assured that the other commissioners will be urged to not be bullied by a former congressman with no clout.

MOTHER SHOULD SPEND THE REST OF HER LIFE IN PRISON

At last the murderer of two children has been indicted. While I am often critical of Shelby County D.A. Bill Gibbons and even though I think that the $250,000 bond is to low I must give him kudos for indicting Melodia Dunn who on October 19, left her two sons at home while she and a aunt went shopping her residence located 1240 Effie burned.

Is it possible that 3 year old Ladereon Dunn and his 2 year old brother Catereon were use to being left along and decided that they were hungry because their uncaring mother most likely didn't leave anything for them to eat and tried to cook?

Dunn has been charged with 2 counts of aggravated child neglect or endangerment along with 2 counts of reckless homicide which if found guilty could result in over 50 years in prison. The aggravated child neglect charge is a non parolable offense.

But what would be real justice is that 201 Poplar caught on fire and she was the only one unable to get out alive.

MPD STATES THAT THEY BOUGHT DRUGS FROM A MAN WHO WAS IN JAIL A MONTH BEFORE THEY SAY THEY PURCHASED THE DRUGS

The 4th amendment to the constitution guarantees citizens of this country that they will not be unlawfully seared by law enforcement and any one else. But yet on October 23,2009 in the Warren Apartments The City of Memphis Police not only broke the law but items within the home of Keisha Driver,located at 1389 Clementine Apt# 202.

A search warrant obtained by Detective Jeff Dennison who swore to a judge that his statements of probable cause were true states that undercover police officers bought crack cocaine 6 times from Stanley Collins and associates 5 days prior to the raid on the Warren Apartments on October 23,2009.

What makes Detective Dennison's warrant a violation of the constitution,and a cause that should be investigated by A.C. Wharton is the fact that Dennison's claim of buying drugs from Collins is a lie because Stanley Collins had been in jail since October 15,2009 and still remains there. In fact Collins has no drug arrest history at all.There is no way at all that Stanley Collins could have sold any drugs to Sheriff deputies so the warrant is an unlawful document and the city should pay for the items destroyed when the home was hit.

This case makes you wonder how many times has the MPD violated the rights of citizens in the city? How many times have officers lied just to get in some one's home. How many persons are in jail based on MPD lies? Can MPD be trusted?I wonder if the new mayor is as concerned about this matter as he is about some damn dogs? I wonder if he will call for an investigation into this matter and fire Director Godwin like he did the director of the Dog Pound.

I don't think that Wharton has the guts to take on Godwin or fight against the injustice done to Keisha Davis and her two small children. Wharton should call for an immediate investigation into this matter and call for the termination of Detective Dennison and any and all other parties included. I don't believe Wharton will say or do anything about this matter but Ms. Davis is preparing to file a multi million dollar lawsuit against the City of Memphis in Federal court

JOSEPH FORD TO BECOME NEXT MAYOR OF SHELBY COUNTY

Joseph Sampson Ford is predicted to be the next mayor of Shelby County. Joyce Avery will soon be replaced according to charter with a pick from the Shelby County Commission. With the need for only 7 votes to win sources state that Ford already has 5 committed votes and that fellow commissioner George Flinn who also wants the job will support Ford after he loses in the first round of voting by the commission.

J.W.Gibson also a commissioner wants to be considered for the job but the democratic controlled commission will most likely pass on Gibson who has strong republican ties. The selection of Ford by his fellow commissioners will finally put a Ford in control of local government.

The selection of Joseph Ford is not a bad choice because he defiantly knows politics and runs his own business,Joe Ford's Funeral Home after spending many years as the President of N.J. Ford and Sons Funeral Home. And surely if a lawyer can run the county a undertaker can as well. There will be those who will not want to see Joe as county mayor, Not because he's not qualified but because of his last Memphis. But then maybe not this "One Memphis" isn't it?

NO MATTER WHAT HERENTON PLANS TO RUN

Sources state that when U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder wasin Memphis several weeks ago he told the local U.S. Attorney that there was no smoking gun in the Willie Herenton investigation.But knowing that a republican ran U.S. Attorney's office will soon end the push is on to get Herenton indicted.

While the main stream media has focused on the $91,000 that Herenton Investments received from a business transaction with Brown Ventures, It has not stated that the real estate investment firm had an option on the Greyhound property months before Brown Ventures came to town. In fact prior to selling the option Herenton asked for a legal opinion from City Council attorney Alan Wade who is also used by the City Attorney's as well and that opinion was that there was nothing improper with the deal. Herenton also asked City Attorney Elbert Jefferson to investigate if any wrong doings had been done after the media reported the transaction.

The media eluded last week that Elbert Jefferson had some secret tape to give to the U.S. Attorney when in fact the tape was no secret the media just didn't know about it. Herenton was totally aware of the tape asking Jefferson to make the recording during the investigation he sought.

As in the Gwen Smith issue where the FBI, attorney Richard Fields, And Nick Clark all played a role in attempting to set Herenton up with the female who according to affidavits went to the home of Clark to meet with a FBI agent with Fields about Herenton. While the media played the conspiracy off they never mentioned that Smith took a lie-detector test and passed proving that all that she had stated was true. Neither the local U.S. Attorney or Bill Gibbons would move forward to investigate the matter even though Herenton made a written request.

This whole issue is not about Herenton going to jail but attempting to save Steve Cohen from defeat without the voters having a say. But this whole matter could back fire on the feds and Cohen who may knot even know he's a pawn. If the black community feels that as in the case of Joseph Lee that the Feds are going after another Black man unjustly,Or that the Feds are trying to save Cohen from defeat this could galvanize even the Black support that Herenton may have lost. And Cohen's being endorsed by Wharton will mean nothing seeing that the number of Whites in the 9th Congressional District is very small.

While an indictment may or may not come based on the decision U.S. Attorney Eric Holder makes after receiving the letter sent to him last week by Willie Herenton the former mayor says that he will be running for congress and that an indictment or the thought of one only makes him want to run harder. I can assure you that if an indictment comes down this whole "One Memphis" concept will be thrown out the window and Memphis can prepare itself for the greatest racial divide in its history.

MEMPHIS POSTAL EMPLOYEES WHO ARE BEING PAID TO DO NOTHING ARE UPSET OVER HOW THEY ARE BEING MISTREATED BY MANAGEMENT

On last week I received an anonymous letter from a U.S.Postal employee who works at the main branch on Third. The employee speaks of how employees are being paid to do nothing and required to sit in what is called a stand by room.

The letter states that the room is small with about 15-20 people normally sitting with a supervisor paid to watch adults. The letter states that while the supervisor is paid to babysit them they are paid to do nothing. It also states that employees are not allowed to read any material other then out dated postal material.

The anonymous employee also states that they are not allowed to eat,sleep, do puzzles,or listen to the radio unless you have ear plugs, Also to leave the room the employees are required to get a "permission sheet" like students in a classroom. The letter states that there are employees with back problems and others with on the job injuries who are made to sit in folding chairs for up to 8 hours. The employee also believes that their union has sold out. The letter also speaks of employees contacting OSHA about the small room with flies and mosquitoes and state that OSHA states there is nothing they can do since there is nothing happening that is life threatening. The employees state that they have contacted Steve Cohen's office but have been told that there is nothing he can do since this issue is happening all over the country.

The employees state that while they have not received a cost of living increase in pay ,stamps and other postal services have went up. There is also the concern that some employees have been uprooted to other parts of the country with the Post office supposing to give them $5,000 which they state the employees have had a problem getting.

The anonymous writer along with other employees that I have spoken with employees at the main branch on Third state that the reason management has the stand by room is because there is no work for the employees but the main is being delayed.

Employees at the Main branch state that the mail is being purposely delayed by management whose changing the dates on the postal pieces. The employees state that when the mail comes in if they can't get it out that day the day is changed so that when the big people come from headquarters they will think that it's that days work when in reality it's work from the day or days before.

After receiving the letter and mentioning it on my radio show I started receiving calls all stating that the work environment downtown is close to slaves being locked in the bottom of slave ships, In fact an employee at the Mitchell Road Post office stated that employees with nothing to do are forced to state in a room in the basement of the building.

After receiving the letter I did some research on the national issue of postal employees being paid for not working and found that the U.S. Postal Service is struggling with a massive deficit caused by plummeting mail volume,And that it spends a million dollars each week to pay thousands of employees to sit in rooms and do nothing.

It's a practice called "stand by time" and has existed for for years. Post officials have went on the record stating that the Post office averages about 45,00 hours of stand by every week. It's the equivalent of having 1,125 full time employees sitting idle,At a cost of more than $50 million per year.

MOTHER AND AUNT SHOULD FEEL THE SAME PAIN AS CHILDREN THAT THEY LEFT HOME ALONE

Shelby County District Attorney Bill Gibbons how has something to do other then going after a city official and that is to bring charges against 23 year old Melanie Dunn and her aunt Marilyn Wilson for the death of 3 year old Ladereon Dunn and for the near death of the two year old child of Dunn.

Dunn and her aunt left the the two toddlers at home while they went to Southland Mall to shop,Her other child is only alive because he was in school. But along with the senseless death of this child and another clinging to life the most heartless statement that I have ever heard a person state was when Marilyn Wilson stated that she saw nothing wrong with the children being left alone and that she needed to get in the house to see if her purse with her food stamp card was okay.

Gibbons should be seeking to file charges of criminal negligent homicide against the two worthless female specimens. Dunn should also lose custody of her other child. Melanie and Dunn and her aunt Marilyn Wilson should be locked away for life or stuck in a burning building with all the doors locked.

IT'S NOT OVER YET CARPENTER WILL RUN AGAIN IN 2011

Attorney Charles Carpenter only received 5% of the vote in Thursday's mayoral race garnering a little over 5100 votes. The virtually unknown candidate fared better then others who had greater name presence basically because of his message and the push he received from my radio show.

Carpenter knew going in that he faced such obstacles as his association with Willie Herenton and some of the legal issues haunting him. He also knew that those who supported Wharton would use this association against him. But never the less Carpenter is preparing to gear up for another race by forming his own base and maintaining a presence in the community.

Even with my push the Wharton name rang the loudest due to the fact that he had the local media as his marketing firm and plenty of money to shake the bell. Wharton has been running and raising campaign funds for the last two years, Or every since a deal was cut in a midtown eatery between Wharton and Herenton.

Now we get to see if Wharton is his own man or whether he will follow the script given him by his handlers. I predict that he has already been told to keep Jack Sammons in place as CAO so that he does not have the chance to violate the wishes of those who control him. Also Wharton will hold on to Larry Godwin as police director because he has no choice.

As for those who say that Carpenter's association with me destroyed his chances at becoming mayor i beg to differ. Carpenter's voice and position got it's greatest exposure on my show, in fact had it not been for the show he most likely would have registered in the 1% colum that some with a bigger name then him registered in, such as Wanda Halbert, Jerry Lawler, Kenneth Whalum.

So we didn't win this time.yesterday in behind us and 2011 is in view I will continue to support Carpenter giving him an outlet to express himself and to present his views on what is needed to make Memphis a better place. The next two years also gives Carpenter the chance to build a war chest to take on Wharton and his handlers...And I think the next two years of Wharton will make a win easy in 2011.

LOWERY WAS ARRESTED FOR SHOPLIFTING AND PLACED ON DIVERSION ACCORDING TO COURT DOCUMENTS

It seems that when Myron Lowery sued Federal Express several years ago the giant overnight air carrier started to dig into the wanna be mayor's past and what they found caused Lowery to file a motion to keep his past out of litigation.

The motion which was given to me by an unknown source speaks of Lowery's domestic abuse of an ex-wife in 1981 which local media has already reported.

But the surprise comes in the fact that mayor Myron Lowery was arrested in 1983 for shoplifting in Indianapolis Indiana and placed in a diversion program where his record was wiped clean in one year.

The motion goes on to state that while employed at FedEx while attempting to break up a fight among high school students visiting the FedEx headquarters Lowery struck a student and was placed on suspension.

Is the wanna be mayor prone to violence and thievery and what about his frequent trips to Tunica where it's rumored that he has had some bad check problems?

CHARLES CARPENTER TO HOLD A NO HOLDS BARRED FORUM THIS AFTERNOON ON "THE THADDEUS MATTHEWS SHOW"

While channel 3 has excluded Charles Carpenter from its debate on Wednesday because their polling of 400 people places him in 6th place the candidate for mayor will hold court for 3 hours today on 'The Thaddeus Matthews Show".

Carpenter will continue to present his platform and take questions from callers. Carpenter does not plan to challenge channel 3 or the CA for their polling of only 400 unknown persons who may or may not be real but will use the 3 hours on my show to answer any question thrown at him,and use the time he would have been on the debate to do something that the others will be unable to do,and that is to be out among the voters garnering their support in the last hours prior to Thursday's election.

Maybe one of the other candidates will now ask Wharton about why he fired Bobby Lanier for political corruption but has been paying him a salary out of campaign contributions. Maybe someone will ask Wharton if it's true that he has had a intimate relationship with his assistant Kelly Rayne who he bought over from the Public defender's office and who in 2006 gave a $14,000 raise in one year. Maybe someone will ask him since on the last debate he stated that he was in shock when I called Myron Lowery a "Good Nigger' on my radio interview with the county mayor "Why are you seen on the video of the show laughing?"

EVEN THOUGH HE PLEAD GUILTY TO AGGRAVATED STATUTORY RAPE WHARTON'S SON DOES NOT HAVE TO REGISTER AS A SEX OFFENDER

On Monday March 12,2007 A.C. Wharton III entered a trailer located at 2544 Byington Soloway Road Lot #38 in Knox County where the then 34 year old man had sex with a 13 year old child. The child told school official at Karns Middle School also located in Knox County that she had been sexually molested and that she had been communicating with Wharton by way of the Internet.

On July 27,2007 Wharton waived his right to a trial and plead guilty to the charge of AGGRAVATED STATUTORY RAPE. in the state of Tennessee here is how that charge is defined:Aggravated Rape of a Child
Aggravated rape of a child is a Class A felony in the state of Tennessee. It is a violent sexual offense under the Tennessee Sexual Offender and Violent Sexual Offender Registration, Verification, and Tracking Act of 2004. What this means is that if convicted, the defendant is facing not only a lengthy incarceration, but also the requirement to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
The difference between rape of a child and aggravated rape of a child has to do with the victim's and defendant's age. Aggravated rape of a child is the unlawful sexual penetration of a victim by the defendant or the defendant by a victim, if the victim is 3 years of age or less.

Whats surprising about Wharton's case is the fact that not only did he not receive any jail time and given 2 years of probation,But did not have to register as a sexual offender and his record has been wiped clean due to his receiving a judicial diversion.

A.C.Wharton III is free to rape again and there is nothing that can be done about it. When Wharton had sex with this 13 year old White child from Knoxville was it the first time that he raped a child or was it the first time he got caught? It was reported that his father A.C.Wharton J.R. went to Knoxville as a father would but what deal was cut that a citizen that is not well connected could not receive?

Does the man that wants to be mayor of Memphis condone the raping of a child? Does Wharton think that a grown man that rapes a child should go free? Why has the main streamed media not reported that the son of the wanna be mayor did not have to register as a sexual offender as other men in the City of Memphis have when they committed the same crime?

Why is A.C. Wharton being protected by the media and whose pulling the strings? Oh I know some will say that this is a private matter,But wasn't the matter between Willie Herenton and Claudine Marsh a private matter?

It is my belief that the CA and other local medias will not have the balls to report this story but will jump to report any future stories on Herenton and his private matter with his child. The CA and the main streamed media would jump to report a story on any other male who rapes a child and does not have to register as a sex offender and just given a slap on the wrist,But it's to close to election day and Wharton serving his masters biddings is more important then a rapist running loose isn't it?
